With increasing urbanization in cities, there is a need for constant feed-back from the ground of the evolving needs of the people. All across the service delivery value-chain from the public to state exco and federal ministries, the current work culture of working in silos mentality need to give way to a holistic and integrated approach if we are to achieve SDG2030. The increasing effects of climate change, the rapid changes in technology , and the need for a people-structure through effective public participation to complement sustainable cities are matters that need urgent attention.

Komuniti-Kerajaan Prihatin adopts a "Whole of Society Approach(WOSA)" that is holistic and inclusive of all stakeholders. WOSA is over overlooked when actors address SDG in isolation . The adoption of the WOSA approach is critical if we are to achieve SDG 2030. The call for a new breed of NGOs. The mechanics, organisation structure and hurdles in implementing WOSA will be highlighted. The successful local case studies arising from the implementaion of "Whole of Society Approach"will also be highlighted. The call for a WOSA is embedded in the SDG 2030, New Urban Agenda, KL Declaration, and in Malaysia Madani.
